Lubricating Deodorant​

To use Vitus Ostomy Lubricating Deodorant, you should add the recommended amount of lubricating deodorant listed below to your pouch. 

Bottle: Dispense 8-15 drops of lubricating deodorant into pouch.
Spray: Spray 2-3 times into pouch.
Packet: Add the entire contents of the packet into pouch.

After you have added the recommended amount of lubricating deodorant to your pouch, lightly rub the pouch to help coat the inside and prevent odor and pancaking. If you are using a pouch filter to help reduce odor, it is best to avoid the filter when coating the inside of your pouch.

Vitus Ostomy Lubricating Deodorant can be used with drainable or closed pouches. 

Yes, it is recommended to use Vitus Ostomy Lubricating Deodorant every time you empty or change your pouch for it to work effectively.

Vitus Ostomy Lubricating Deodorant is formulated to eliminate/neutralize ostomy odor without any added fragrances to mask odor. So while you won’t notice any added scents while using the product, it will help ensure a neutral smell from your ostomy pouch.

Vitus Ostomy Lubricating Deodorant is water-soluble and will not harm your stoma or skin. If it comes into contact with your surrounding skin, be sure to wash it off before applying your appliance to ensure a good seal.
